Become a Contributor (and turn your plans into pounds)
You're probably reading this and trying to spot how it is going to cost you money. It isn't.
You may also be thinking that there is probably a lot of work involved in preparing formal lesson plans and outlines that can be uploaded to a website. Again, there isn't!
You don't even need to be a teacher! If you think your ideas for lessons would be of benefit to others then we encourage you to put them on Virtual Teacher.
As teachers, our aim is to provide fellow teachers with a means of turning plan ideas and lesson plans into extra income and we can accept material in most electronic formats. Provided we can turn your document into a PDF file then we can upload it. We don't even mind what the material looks like although the more attractive it looks the better for you as fellow teachers are the ones that will decide whether to buy or not. All material is reviewed when we receive it to make sure it isn't offensive or illegal but aside from that we upload what we receive.
It doesn't matter if you teach Science, Maths, English, History, Geography or any other subject, we are very keen to help you pass on your experience to others and gain additional reward for your effort.

There is no up-front fee to join the site and there is no charge for adding your plans. When you sell a plan we take a small commission from the sales price to cover our costs (for taking credit card payments, etc.) and pass the rest on to you. You decide what the sales price is. You may also decide to offer teaching material for free to show others what you can provide and if that's the case then we will waive our fees too so your plans and materials stay free.
That's it! No hidden anything. It costs you nothing and when your plans sell you get paid. The biggest problem we face is trying to reassure people that we are trying to do a good thing!
